Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing:

Accurate business information
Written content and copy
Photos and imagery
Logos and existing brand files
Timely approvals at each project milestone
Domain registrar access when required
Hosting access when required
Access to any third-party accounts required to complete the project

Delays caused by missing information, delayed responses, or unavailable materials may extend the estimated project timeline and delivery date.

Client Communication

Project communication may take place through email and/or text message (SMS) using the contact information provided by the client during onboarding.

Email will serve as the primary method for:

Website Design Agreement
Project documents
Invoices
Payment reminders
Project approvals
Official notices
Important project updates

Text messaging (SMS) may be used for:

Project updates
Progress notifications
Scheduling
Appointment reminders
Quick questions
Payment reminders
General project communication

Clients are responsible for:

Providing accurate contact information.
Keeping their contact information current.
Responding promptly to project-related communication.

Delays in communication may extend the overall project timeline.

Website Project Scope

Services are based on the selected package and the details captured in the project intake.
Package pricing shown as “Starting At” represents the minimum project investment, not the guaranteed final cost.
Final pricing depends on pages, features, add-ons, and any scope changes requested during the project.
Additional services outside the agreed scope require written approval and may involve additional fees.

Examples of additional-scope work:

Extra website pages beyond the package allowance
Advanced features and integrations
Custom development or automations
Additional design directions or major restructuring

Payment Terms

Project Payment Schedule

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the project and begin work.
At approximately 50% completion, the client will receive a progress update as a reminder to prepare for the remaining balance.
After the website is completed and the client approves the final design, the remaining 50% balance is due within 72 hours.
Website launch, domain connection, and final delivery will not occur until the final payment has cleared.
Projects may be paused for non-payment or missed balances.
Clients may request a payment extension using the extension request link before the payment deadline. Extensions are reviewed individually and are not guaranteed.
Reactivation fees may apply if a project is placed on hold because of non-payment and later resumed.

Deposits and refund eligibility are governed by our Refund Policy.

Client Delays

Failure to provide requested content, approvals, files, or communication in a reasonable timeframe may extend estimated completion dates. Prolonged inactivity may cause the project to be paused, and a reactivation fee may apply when the project resumes.

Intellectual Property & Ownership

Client-owned content — including logos, photos, and written material provided by the client — remains the property of the client.
Taylor'dForrYouu retains ownership of all creative work, designs, layouts, code, and deliverables until final payment has been received in full.
Ownership of the final website and project deliverables transfers to the client only after payment is completed.
Third-party assets such as fonts, plugins, and stock media remain governed by their respective licenses.

Portfolio & Marketing Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client grants Taylor'dForrYouu permission to display completed work in its:

Portfolio
Website
Social media accounts
Marketing materials
Promotional content
Client presentations and case studies

This includes screenshots, homepage previews, branding elements, and project descriptions used for marketing purposes.

If a client requests that their project remain private, both parties must agree in writing before the project begins.

Homepage Mockup Protection

Every free homepage mockup remains the intellectual property of Taylor'dForrYouu and is protected by copyright. Mockups are created solely for evaluating design direction and are not licensed for commercial use.

Without written permission, clients may not:

Copy the mockup
Recreate the mockup
Trace the mockup
Modify the mockup
Publish the mockup
Sell the mockup
Transfer the mockup to another party
Have another designer or developer recreate the mockup

Every mockup includes Taylor'dForrYouu branding and/or a watermark to protect creative ownership and identify the designer.

Referral Rewards Terms

Rewards require a verified qualifying purchase by the referred customer.
Submitting a referral does not guarantee a reward.
Rewards become available after purchase verification and cannot be redeemed early.
Rewards have no cash value unless specifically stated.
Fraudulent, self-referred, or bad-faith referrals are disqualified.
Taylor'dForrYouu may substitute rewards of equal value based on availability.
The referral program may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

Referral participation is also subject to these Terms & Conditions.

Identity & Verification

Taylor'dForrYouu reserves the right to request additional identity or business verification when reasonably necessary to protect against fraud, unauthorized transactions, ownership disputes, or other security concerns. Failure to provide requested verification may delay or prevent project commencement or delivery.

Privacy

Information collected through our website, forms, and services is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
